Bookings and Tariff
As explained on the home page, I have not been taking bookings because of the uncertainties of the Covid situation. I am also aware we need to ensure stringent cleaning to eliminate the possibility of transmission of Covid.
Note that present travel restrictions apply not only to your destination but where you are coming from. Islay is currently level 3, but this could change soon. Please consult the Scottish government websites which explain the situation and will update as restrictions are lifted: https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-tourism-and-hospitality-sector-guidance/pages/frequently-asked-questions-faqs/ and https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-guidance-on-travel-and-transport/
Many of you have noticed my booking calendar is not active. My apologies for the inconvenience, and for not making this clear. The on-line calendar is now activated once more. I am writing to those who already made enquiries to see whether I can satisfy the requests made, although I realise some will have made alternative arrangements. From now on I will do my best to keep the calendar updated.
In the meantime, until we have clarity I will take bookings on trust and by mutual agreement without taking a deposit. When the restrictions are lifted and we know we can go ahead with the booking, I would ask for the deposit to be paid then. It will save a lot of trouble, as last year I had to pay back quite a lot of deposits.
Please note bookings are made from Friday to Friday,, except by prior arrangement
